Independent Chef

At Saré you won't be working in a classic restaurant. Our guests come for a relaxing day, and to us good food naturally goes with that. Prepared with care, matched to the moment and to what our guests are looking for. That care shows in our kitchen. Alongside our seasonal menu, we work a lot with smaller dishes, tapas & bites, and various culinary packages. We keep developing our menu and are always looking at how to align our food and beverage offering even better with our guests' overall experience. We're looking for an experienced chef who'd like to contribute to that.

As an independent chef, you'll work together with our head chef and colleagues on daily preparation and service. You make sure dishes leave the kitchen well prepared and beautifully presented, and you keep a clear overview even during busier moments. • Preparing and cooking dishes • Monitoring quality, freshness and presentation • Contributing ideas for new dishes, specials and our seasonal menu • Keeping the kitchen clean and organized • Working together for smooth and efficient service

You have experience as an independent chef or chef de partie and know what it's like to work in a professional kitchen. You can work independently, but also enjoy working as part of a team. You value structure, notice what needs to be done, and take ownership of your work. You also bring real care to what you make and enjoy thinking along about how we can further develop our kitchen.

Working at Saré means working in a different rhythm than at many classic restaurants. No split shifts and no working deep into the night. You work clear shifts between 10:00 and 22:00, and in the standard schedule one day per weekend. We're a Twente family business with short lines of communication. We like to roll up our sleeves, give you the space to work independently, and are open to good ideas.
